Our computerized equipment ranges from Swiss Type Turning Lathes to Vertical Milling with 4th axis capability. All equipment and tools are regularly recalibrated to ensure accuracies that will meet or exceed your specifications. This equipment allows us the flexibility to meet your requirements in the variety of parts and products we can manufacture.
CNC Swiss Style turning is unlike conventional turning where the material is pushed through a guide bushing and the tools remain fixed in a gang tooling type setup. Where common turning centers can only manufacture parts of a certain length due to deflection, Swiss Turning centers allow for long parts to be manufactured with ease.
Although our mainstay is CNC SWISS TYPE TURNING, High Point Precision has two HAAS Vertical Milling machines. Though they are mainly used for secondary operations, from time to time we have received jobs that require this type of machining.
